Tel Aviv, Oct 14 (UNI) A drone launched by the Hezbollah movement struck an Israel Defense Forces (IDF) base near Binyamina-Giv'at Ada on Sunday evening, killing four soldiers and wounding many others, the army said on Monday.

"Yesterday (Sunday), a UAV launched by the Hezbollah terrorist organization hit an army base adjacent to Binyamina. All the injured individuals have been evacuated to hospitals and their families have been notified. Four IDF soldiers were killed in the incident and an additional seven were severely injured," the statement says.

The army added that it was investigating the incident.

The Israeli Ambulance Service (MDA) previously reported that more than 60 people had been injured as a result of the drone attack.
